This policy explains what information Insight Holistic Health collects through this website, why we collect it, and who it is shared with.
Who we are
Insight Holistic Health is a Reiki practice founded by Beth Wishbow RMT, based in Bedminster, New Jersey. In-person classes are taught at Princeton Yoga & Wellness in Skillman, New Jersey. You can reach us at beth@insightholistichealth.com or 908.295.7999.
What we collect
When you use the contact form. We collect your name, your email address, the service you indicate you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message box. The form also records the date and time of your submission and the IP address it came from. Submissions are emailed to Beth and are also stored in this website’s own database, so that an enquiry is not lost if an email fails to arrive.
When you sign up for the newsletter. We collect your first name, last name and email address.
When you book a session or a class. Bookings are handled by Acuity Scheduling. The information you enter there is collected by Acuity and shared with us. Payment details are processed by Acuity and its payment providers; we never see or store your card details.
A note about health information
We are not a medical provider, and this website is not a secure medical system. Please do not send detailed health information through the contact form. If something about your health is relevant to a session, it is better discussed directly with Beth by phone or at your appointment.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to you, to arrange and deliver sessions and classes, and, if you have asked for it, to send you our newsletter. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
Who else handles your information
Running this website and practice involves a small number of service providers. Each has its own privacy policy.
- Acuity Scheduling (a Squarespace company), for bookings and payments
- Mailchimp, for the newsletter
- Elastic Email, which delivers email sent by the website
- CleanTalk, which checks form submissions for spam
- Fathom Analytics, for website statistics
- Cloudways, which hosts the website
- WPMU DEV, which delivers the website’s images
- Heartlight Digital, which builds and maintains the website
Cookies and analytics
We use Fathom Analytics to understand how the site is used. Fathom does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites; it collects anonymous, aggregated statistics only.
The contact page includes an embedded Google Map. Google may set cookies when that map loads. If you would rather avoid this, you can find our address in the site footer without loading the map.
How long we keep it
We keep contact form messages and booking records for as long as we need them to run the practice and to meet our record-keeping obligations, and we clear old enquiries periodically. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
Your choices
Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can use it at any time. You can also email us at beth@insightholistichealth.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the New Jersey Data Privacy Act or the GDPR.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
